ABOUT

I believe that each person carries inherent wisdom within themselves, and my role is to help draw that wisdom out.
I believe that we are all capable of accessing the inner and outer resources required for our health and healing.
I believe that true healing happens when people feel empowered to trust their own inner knowing, and my role is to guide and support them on that journey.
I believe nature has given us many incredible tools to support our healing: whole nutrient-dense foods, the herbs that act as medicine, the water as used in hydrotherapy, the electromagnetic frequencies of the earth, to the very the breath we breathe; and when we can harness the healing powers of nature, we can heal ourselves.
While I bring expertise in the science of medicine—understanding how the body works, diagnosing what’s wrong, and identifying the best supports to promote healing—I see my clients as the true experts of their own lives. My role is to help draw out that wisdom, working collaboratively whether through diet, lifestyle changes, acupuncture, energy work, or other therapeutic modalities. I’m passionate about empowering my clients to make the changes they know they need to make to achieve lasting health.
Health is not just a physical state—it's a harmony between body, mind, and spirit. We are spirit beings having a human experience, and true wellness comes from supporting both our spirit and our human bodies. This philosophy is at the core of my practice. I offer a compassionate space where individuals can heal from the inside out, reconnect with their soul essence, and step into a life of greater vitality.
I have lived in my own human skin for 50 years and know what it is like to be unwell. Anxiety in my early teens was masked by disordered eating patterns as a method of attempting to control internal discomfort. Depression in my early 20s presented itself as I began my healing journey in earnest. Burnout in my mid- to later 20s showed me the way to great self care. Many of these states were accompanied by corresponding physical ailments such as irritable bowel syndrome, amenorrhea, hypotension, hypoglycemia, and others.
Self-love began in my 30s when I realized I was the only one I would be living with for the duration of my life, and it has changed the trajectory of my life to the point I can proudly say in the last 20 years I have developed a healthy and loving relationship with my physical body and the food with which I nourish myself. I have learned to turn towards any symptoms that my body presents me with with great curiosity and self-love, curious to know what they require from me in order to return my system back to balance.

My mood and mental state are stable, and I know what I need to do to keep them as such. Regular physical activity, time in nature, commitment to prayer and journaling, consuming whole clean foods, limiting caffeine and alcohol, having healthy boundaries as to how I spend my time, who I surround myself, how much I work, and how much I rest are all crucial for my mind-body-soul health.
I am a lifelong learner and soul archeologist, constantly exploring how the body works, how it responds to different foods and nutrients, and fascinated by the profound connection between mind, body, and soul. I believe "the soul always wins"—our physical health is often a wake-up call from the soul, urging us to care for ourselves on every level. True health is influenced by so much more than diet or supplements —it encompasses our relationships, spiritual connection, creativity, environment, finances, and overall lifestyle.
In addition to my training as a Naturopathic Doctor, I am a Reiki and Karuna Ki Master, a graduate of the Sacred Medicine Training with traditional healer Asha Frost, and have completed Circle Leadership Training through The Wild Woman Project. I also have specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps individuals heal from deep emotional and spiritual wounds. These diverse practices allow me to offer a range of healing modalities that support both physical, emotional, and soul health.
I am committed to my own personal growth and healing path, which continually informs and enriches my practice. By walking my own journey, I am able to meet you where you are, with empathy and deep respect for your process.

In The Community

Beyond my clinical practice, I am deeply dedicated to nurturing and empowering my community. I lead transformative wellness retreats in both Saskatchewan and Alberta, creating a space for healing that nourishes both the body and spirit. These retreats offer a chance to reconnect with oneself, find balance, and experience healing in a supportive and peaceful environment.
I also host monthly women’s dance circles, where women come together to embrace freedom, move joyfully, celebrate their bodies, and cultivate a sense of sisterhood. These circles are a space for women to let go, express themselves, and rediscover their innate power.
In addition to these offerings, I regularly teach workshops, classes, and events on a wide range of topics—from healthy eating and detox diets, to women’s health, self-compassion, mindfulness, and connecting with your inner wisdom. Each session is designed to empower participants with tools and insights to live a life that aligns with their true essence. [Click here for a list of past and upcoming classes.]
I am deeply passionate about sharing knowledge and connecting with the public on matters of health and well-being. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of being featured on CJTR Community Radio, CTV News, and various health-focused podcasts. I also offer public and corporate seminars that inspire individuals and organizations to embrace a holistic approach to living well.
