March Full Moon Dance

Full Moon Dance Nights

​Since August of 2018 I have been gathering women together monthly on or around the night of the full moon.  These full moon dance nights include the opening of sacred space with a short meditation, followed by "name circle", and a brief teaching on the energy of the particular moon cycle we are honouring while sharing in cacao treats to open the heart centre.

We then move into a 5-10 minute yoga practice to warm the body before we begin our dance portion of the evening.  We dance for just over one hour, and end our evening with a sharing circle, a release ritual, and close of our sacred space for the night.  I like to play fun, relatable music that can be sung along to, if so desired!

And please note, you do not need to be a "dancer" or even know how to "dance"!  Simply to hold the desire to get more acquainted with your physical body, and have the courage to move beyond your comfort zone in a safe and supportive space, letting the music move you in intuitive, soul-supporting ways.  The mechanism of dance offers the opportunity to use our physical bodies for personal self-expression and liberation.  My belief in the power of community is strong and a large part of my mission as a healer is to inspire others to develop their own inner wisdom, self-confidence and commitment to living their fullest and most authentic lives.

​Wear comfortable clothes that allow you freedom to move.  Bring a blanket or yoga mat, and cushion if desired for comfortable seating during the open and close of the ceremonies.

All dance nights take place at The Unitarian Centre, lower level, 2700 College Avenue.  

7:30 to 9:30 pm
